The last 2 years have been hard on all of us and has brought about various challenges such as: job loss, isolation, fear, grief, struggles with parenting, homeschooling, etc. Studies have shown that mental health has become one of the most skyrocketing issues in our country right now. We know that trusted counsellors and resources can be expensive so we have used funds raised by our church for Covid-Relief to provide free counseling sessions for people in need!

The word resolute is defined as “determined, purposeful, unwavering, and persistent.” Resolute Counseling was founded in 2015 by Michael Linn who believed that the word resolute described his approach to counseling practice. Michael has a vision that counseling should be part of a holistic approach to overall health. Resolute Counseling aims at improving mental health through the promotion of social health, physical health, and spiritual health. Resolute Counseling makes every effort to collaborate with community organizations to help connect people with additional supports. Resolute offers comprehensive mental health counseling and substance abuse counseling for adults and adolescents. In addition, providing couples and family counseling.

WellSpan Philhaven is south central Pennsylvania’s most comprehensive behavioral health organization, serving Adams, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties through 54 programs and 20 care locations. For more than 65 years, Philhaven has focused on treating the whole person – body, mind and spirit. They offer services for all ages and various levels of care, including hospitalization, day programs, outpatient counseling, and services in the home, school and community.

Cultivate Counseling was formed with the intention of providing the community a safe space to grow and develop new skills. There are many different avenues for individual growth and counseling is one of those paths. Some choose to enter counseling to work on past hurt, others come to navigate difficult transitions, while others are looking to gain perspective and have a non-judgmental atmosphere. With over 17 years in the mental health field, Cultivate Counseling finds value in helping each individual find their potential, new resources, and skill sets. Currently scheduling sessions ages 12 and older. Areas of specialization include: general mental health concerns, perinatal mood disorders, military families, juveniles with offending behaviors, and trauma.
