Alpha Pre-Marriage Course
The Pre-Marriage Course is a series of five sessions for couples who are exploring the idea of getting married and for those who are already engaged. It’s designed for those who want to give their marriage the best possible start, whether they’re exploring marriage for the first time or have been married before.
The course will help couples to:
- Communicate more effectively
- Understand each other’s needs
- Resolve conflict
- Know the importance of spending time together
- Develop a good sexual relationship
- Share goals, values, and dreams
One of the most liked aspects of the course is that you will not have to share anything with anyone but your partner! Light refreshments are served along with coffee and water. Upcoming courses will be announced on the app and website.
Alpha “The Marriage Course”
Whether you’ve been married six months or 40 years, whether you’re in a good place or struggling, Alpha’s 7-week Marriage Course offers practical support to strengthen your relationship.
This course will help couples to:
- Communicate more effectively
- Understand each other’s needs
- Resolve conflict
- Recognize how upbringing affects your relationship
- Improve relationships with parents and in-laws.
- Recover from ways you may have hurt each other
- Develop greater intimacy
- And much, much more.

Dan and Jo have a heart to help couples invest in their relationship and build a strong marriage. After leading DivorceCare for a number of years and seeing the pain that broken marriages and divorce causes, they turned their passion into helping couples strengthen their marriages, connect on a deeper level and avoid many of the pitfalls that will damage a relationship. Dan and Jo lead both the Alpha Marriage Course and the Alpha Pre-Marriage Course. They also provide spiritual guidance to individuals and couples that are dealing with a variety of issues.
